Faq

What is your minimum and maximum hours of booking per day?

Our minimum hours for a daytime booking is 6 hours and 4 hours after 6PM, no maximum as we are a 24/7 service. Nurses can only complete 12 hours in one continuous shift, if the instance of 24 hours care 2 nurses would be provided.

How many children can a Nurse cover? Do you charge extra if its more than 1 child?

Depending on the age of the children 1 Nurse to 3 children, this is the discretion of Nightingale Home Nursing to ensure safe environment and care for your children. Our newborn care is one nurse to one baby.

How late can I cancel or make changes to my booking?

A cancellation for a contract must be made 24 hours in advance. For an ADHOC booking, 4 hours would be required. Cancellations may still have a penalty charge.

Can you send a Nurse the same day?

Yes, within 2 hours.

Do you offer sleep training?

Yes, with one of our Midwives or a Specialist children’s nurse and Public Health specialist.

Can I have the same Nurse during my contract. What happens if the Nurse is off sick?

Yes, we can allocate the same Nurse for you if your contract is 30 hours or more. If the Nurse is off sick, we will replace that day with a Nurse of the same experience.

Do you send Nurse profiles?

Yes. Provided the contract is long term. For Ad-hoc bookings we do not send nurse profiles

Where are your Nurses from?

Most of our Nurses are from the Philippines. We also have nurses from Uganda, Nigeria, India and Nepal. All of our nurses have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Do you organise the visas if we take the nurse travelling with us?

Visas should be organised by the company/client taking the Nurses on a travel role.

Can you provide prices for a long-term Nurse contract?

We provide discounted packages for monthly and long-term contracts. Our rates vary depending on client’s requirements.

Do you accept credit card payments?

Yes, we do. We accept online payments as well.

Can the Nurses do household chores and cook for the Child/patient

Our Nurses can assist with anything related to the patient and/or child/baby.

Can the Nurse accompany the patient to hospital visits

Yes, all our Nurses can accompany patients to follow up or hospital appointments.

Do you cover insurance for Clinical care?

We can complete the paperwork required to enable you for pay and claim with your insurance provider.

Opening hours?

The clinic is open Everyday of the week from 9AM to 7PM

How can I pay for my booking?

Payment for your booking needs to be paid upfront. We accept online payments, credit cards or cash. For nursing packages, a 50% advance payment is required.
